NIADA has approved another Preferred Provider partner in the ranks of its affiliated product and service providers. The Guardian Warranty Corporation offers a variety of warranty and service contract products covering a wide range of used vehicles and model years.
"We think this is a great opportunity to team up with NIADA," said Mark C. Ehlmann, vice president of operations for Guardian Warranty. CEO John Stultz agrees and adds, "NIADA clearly understands the importance of the independent dealer in this industry, and the association is responding to the growing needs of its dealers by partnering with service and product providers such as Guardian Warranty."
The Guardian Warranty Corporation offers fully insured warranties and service contracts ranging from 90 days or 3,500 miles, to 60 months or 60,000 miles. Guardian provides its dealers with additional products like GAP, glass etching, service contract financing, and credit insurances. Guardian dealers receive a weekly commission on paid contracts, as well as the opportunity to benefit from Guardian's Dealer Dividend Program. The Program pays the qualifying dealer up to 70 percent of the earned unused reserves on expired contracts. Stultz says, "Our dealers truly have an advantage in the marketplace with the additional products available and are realizing higher profits that were previously left on the table."
NIADA's Executive Vice President Michael Linn added, "Our relationship with The Guardian Warranty Corporation is a strategic alliance for NIADA that will allow us to put our more than 14,000 independent dealers nationwide in touch with a quality warranty and service contract provider that offers a number of products and benefits to dealers. It just makes good sense to work together."
The Guardian Warranty Corporation has been in business since 1995 and is currently licensed to conduct business in Pennsylvania, New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee, Kentucky, Ohio, Indiana, Oklahoma, Kansas, Michigan, Texas, Arizona and Nevada.
NIADA's Preferred Providers Program allows for the exchange of information through the association. Under the outline of the program, NIADA gathers and organizes pertinent details concerning participating vendors. According to the company, they act as a clearinghouse for information for its members. Upon satisfying NIADA's criteria, participating companies receive Preferred Provider status from the association. NIADA provides these participating companies with special recognition, additional marketing access and discounts on NIADA programs.
