Nobilis to Bring Hall of Famer ‘Pudge’ Rodriguez to Industry Summit
Ivan ‘Pudge’ Rodriguez will greet attendees and sign complimentary copies of his autobiography, ‘They Call Me Pudge,” at Industry Summit in Dallas.

IRVING, Texas — F&I products provider Nobilis Group announced the company will sponsor a book signing with Baseball Hall of Famer Ivan “Pudge” Rodriguez during Industry Summit 2017. The event will be held Sept. 11–14 at the Gaylord Texan Resort & Conference Center in Grapevine, Texas, near Dallas.
Following his induction to the National Baseball Hall of Fame in July, Rodriguez, a 14-time Major League All-Star and 2003 World Series champion, released his first book, “They Call Me Pudge.” Widely regarded as one of the best all-around catchers in baseball history, Rodriguez won 13 Gold Gloves, seven Silver Slugger awards and the 1999 American League MVP award over his 20-year career with six different teams, including the Texas Rangers, where he made his Major League debut in 1991.
Rodriguez will sign complimentary copies of his new book during Industry Summit 2017 from 11:00 a.m.–12:30 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 14, for the first 150 Industry Summit attendees to visit the Nobilis VIP Lounge, located in Grapevine 1 on Level 3 of the Gaylord Convention Center.
“For decades, baseball fans around the world have admired Pudge for his drive and tenacity,” said Troy Good, president and CEO of Nobilis Group. “He made it to the big leagues in 1991, which is the same year we got our start, and just as Pudge defended home plate in an all-star manner, our AutoBodyGuard products protect a vehicle’s appearance with the same level of excellence.”
