Ohio Attorney General Sues Used-Car Dealers
Boasko's Rt 4 Automall LLC and Buyers Choice Cars are facing lawsuits after the Attorney General paid out more than $56,000 from a Title Defect Rescission fund to resolve consumer complaints against the dealerships.
SANDUSKY, Ohio — Boasko's Rt 4 Automall LLC and Buyers Choice Cars are facing lawsuits filed by Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine for entering into numerous consumer transactions and failing to transfer titles as required by Ohio law, reports northwestohio.com.
DeWine’s office paid $19,415.52 from the Title Defect Rescission (TDR) Fund to resolve consumer complaints originating from Buyers Choice Cars and $37,465 to resolve 17 consumer complaints against Boasko's Rt 4 Automall, according to the lawsuit.
