Regional Sales Manager Derek Beard of Credit Union Services Inc. (CUSI) will be a featured speaker Thursday, Dec. 4, at the 47th Year Ohio Fall Leasing Conference hosted by The Ohio Vehicle Leasing Association.

Also speaking will be NVLA President William (Bill) Crawford, president of Wilmar Leasing Inc., a North Carolina independent lessor based at Charlotte with offices at Spartanburg, S.C., and Atlanta.

CUSI, a subsidiary of Credit Union of Texas (based in Dallas), has been funding loans since the 1930s and leases since the early 1990s.

Beard will be presenting the advantages of CUSI’s indirect retail lending and leasing programs to OVLA members. CUSI says its lease funding program offers many advantages including preferential rates for all credit tiers, flexible underwriting and generous profit opportunities.

These programs are available to all Ohio licensed independent lessors but especially to qualified OVLA members, according to OVLA.
