PeopleFirst.com Partners With America West Airlines

PeopleFirst.com has announced a new marketing partnership with America West Airlines. America West frequent fliers can earn 5,000 FlightFund miles when they apply for an auto loan through the America West Web site and use PeopleFirst to secure a low interest rate loan to purchase or refinance a new or used vehicle.



"PeopleFirst is committed to providing a hassle-free loan experience that saves consumers' time while delivering loan rates that are typically one to two percent lower than national bank averages," said Gary Miller, PeopleFirst chief executive officer. "Like America West, we combine the best price and superior customer service to deliver for consumers."

"Our partnerships allow the America West customer to get connected with quality companies and earn miles for things they normally do, such as taking out an auto loan," said Scott Kirby, America West sales and marketing executive vice president. "That's what makes FlightFund so great---customers earn miles toward free award travel for all kinds of

personal and business activities."



PeopleFirst, a Capital One company, says it is the nation's largest online vehicle

lender. According to the company, PeopleFirst.com is the pioneer of the Blank Check -- a way to

finance a new or used vehicle. Blank Check works like a personal check

that's good up to a pre-approved loan amount. It can be written at virtually

any dealership to purchase the car or motorcycle of a customer's choice.

Blank Check can also be used for financing person-to-person transactions,

lease buyouts and refinancing existing loans.



America West Airlines, the nation's eighth-largest carrier, serves 88

destinations in the U.S., Canada and Mexico. Along with its codeshare

partners, America West serves more than 170 destinations worldwide. America

West Airlines is a wholly owned subsidiary of America West Holdings

Corporation, an aviation and travel services company with 2001 sales of $2.1
