Power Information Network LLC, (PIN), an affiliate of J.D. Power and Associates, and Pro Tracking announced an agreement to provide automotive dealers with a Web-based sales and F&I analysis tool that they say is designed to increase productivity and help maximize profits for dealer finance and insurance departments.

PIN will power a new dealer application called PowerTrack that leverages the sales and F&I reporting capabilities of Pro Tracking software with real-time dealer transaction information electronically collected and processed by PIN.

"By integrating PIN's transaction information, which is electronically collected daily from dealerships, PowerTrack becomes a single-entry system that is not only more efficient but can take information collection and analysis to a new level," said Tim Longnecker, chief executive officer of PIN. "PowerTrack eliminates the need for antiquated and laborious handwritten logs or double entry systems that most sales and F&I departments rely on to manage their business."

In addition to organizing retail transaction logs, PowerTrack allows dealership sales and F&I departments to easily create management reports that can be compiled in relevant and insightful ways, says the company.

"Our goal has always been to give dealerships a tool that allows them to use and implement their information in ways that help to increase sales and F&I profits," said Matt Twyman, president of Pro Tracking. "This agreement takes a product that was already useful to dealers and makes it even more efficient and easy to use by eliminating the manual input from dealers and electronically putting the data to work for them."
