Ronald J. Reahard, president of Reahard & Associates Inc., has launched a new online F&I training and certification program called Achieving F&I Excellence Online!. With a library of more than 100 training modules, Achieving F&I Excellence Online! covers every aspect of F&I, including product knowledge, needs-based selling and overcoming objections. Every fourth online module addresses numerous laws and regulations that impact F&I on a daily basis.

“Achieving F&I Excellence Online! gives F&I managers the flexibility and convenience to learn at their own pace with 24 hour a day, 365 day a year access,” said Reahard. “Each week, F&I managers receive access to another course module that includes interactive instruction with a printable Action Guide for future reference.” The online curriculum includes: professional financial services management, customer-focused selling, customer repayment options, risk management options, vehicle protection options, credit evaluation/analysis, laws and regulations, and professionalism.

According to Reahard, “Every self-paced online module includes comprehensive instruction which managers can complete according to their own schedule and time available.” Training modules also feature an interactive demonstration by Reahard in which F&I managers can select the customer’s response. Managers even have an opportunity to practice what they learned with a virtual customer, so they are prepared when they encounter the same objection from a real customer. At the end of each module, F&I managers have an opportunity to measure their personal progress with a brief Certification Test.

Dealers, GMs and F&I managers can easily track which training modules have been completed, including individual manager test results. “By providing consistent, ongoing training that incorporates real-world selling situations and customer objections into each online module, F&I managers can dramatically increase product sales and income through a compliant, customer-focused F&I sales process,” says Reahard.
