Relevate’s Auto Ownership Marketing Database Grows by 30 Percent

The provider of automotive lead data says its database of current automotive customers has grown from 120 million to more than 156 million vehicle records in 85 million households.

Springfield, Va. — Relevate announced today that Auto ID, a repository of legally obtained automotive ownership information, has grown by more than 30 percent. It is available to new- and used-vehicle dealers, service centers, the automotive aftermarket and auto insurers.

The Auto ID database is 100 percent populated with the VIN number on each vehicle. Data is updated on a monthly basis from multiple proprietary sources. During the monthly build, the data is cleaned to provide an accurate postal address or telephone number, and it is appended with several hundred consumer demographics, according to the company. The demographic overlays allow automotive marketers to pinpoint the exact audience they are looking for.

“There are many companies offering automotive lead data, but no data set is as robust, clean and deliverable as Auto ID,” said Scott Johnson, vice president of data solutions. “In working with clients in the automotive space, we’ve discovered many, if not most of them, struggle to find current, clean and legal sources of automotive leads. And, if and when they are able to find safe and actionable leads, they need help to pinpoint the best prospects for their targeted acquisition campaigns. Auto ID solves both these problems through exhaustive mining of automotive-related consumer transactions and rigorous database build protocols, as well as client-specific response models and other analytic solutions.”
