Designed to promote the joy of reading, Rhinos Love To Read rewards children with prizes each time they fulfill a new

reading goal. Rhino Linings dealers supply each classroom with a kit that

contains motivational stickers, bookmarks, coloring books, a sing-along tape

and a poster to chart each student's progress. All of these classroom

materials use and emphasize rhino images.

Lori Harris of Rhino Linings of Missoula (Montana) has successfully

introduced Rhinos Love to Read to nine different classrooms in nearby

schools. "Parents, educators and librarians are very excited about this

program because it is a very powerful tool for encouraging children to spend

more time reading," said Harris. "The interest among children is

contagious."

"The program gives all children the chance to participate by reading at

their own levels," said Melanie Young of Rhino Linings of Elizabeth City

(North Carolina). Young donated several kits to her local school, and 560

students participated in the program. "The teachers had the students pass a

comprehensive quiz before credit was allowed for each book," Young

explained. "The kids were really working for this. At the program's

completion, I had the honor of presenting the merit certificates and

announcing the top reading classes at the school's awards ceremony. I was

impressed by the level of enthusiasm on the part of the students, parents

and teachers."

"Rhino Linings is happy to give back to the educational community," said

Russell Lewis, president and founder of Rhino Linings USA, Inc. "For years,

our dealers have been asking for a program that would allow them to get more

involved in community service. We're proud to offer Rhinos Love to Read as a

great way for our dealers to have a positive impact on their communities."

According to the company, teachers are encouraged to contact the Rhino Linings USA corporate office

for the name and phone number of the local dealer participating in the

program.

Rhino Linings USA, Inc. says it pioneered sprayed-on polyurethane linings to protect
