Sales and Networking Summit Set for Chicago

Today’s Dealer Solutions, a training and solutions provider, will present the Championship Sales and Networking Summit in Chicago on May 18-19. This event will have a split curriculum tackling issues related to sales and networking processes. Headlining the two-day event are trainers John Lane and David Johnson.

Today’s Dealer Solutions, a training and solutions provider, will present the Championship Sales and Networking Summit in Chicago on May 18-19. This event will have a split curriculum tackling issues related to sales and networking processes. Headlining the two-day event are trainers John Lane and David Johnson.

Lane, of JL Solutions, is a 23-year veteran of the automotive retail industry. He will be speaking about topics such as business and personal development, communication essentials and proven follow-up tips and objection finders. Lane has a dynamic agenda planned for salesman and management created from his over 16 years in dealership experience and 7 plus years of teaching, training and keynote speaking.

Johnson is a social-networking consultant with Next General Dealer Services and PersuasiveConcepts.com. He has 10 years of in dealership and training experience in the auto industry. He currently works with copier distributors, singers, authors, and other business owners to help them establish their brand and grow their business.

He will address today’s social networking craze and what it means to automotive dealers. He will discuss reputation management, community awareness, creating customers from your current customers and much more.

“It’s not just for sales; it’s for your bottom line,” Johnson says. He says every department in a dealership can benefit from being involved in social media. He will share tips to increase business in sales, fleet, finance, service and the body shop.        

“We are extremely excited to get together two of the best trainers in the auto industry today,” says Marla Belson. “Currently, dealers are looking for every cost effective means they can to increase profits in their dealerships and these two gentlemen excel in maximizing every opportunity presented.”

Belson and Rob Hagen, CEO of Next Generation Dealer Services, will lead a workshop on “Bridging the Gap between Sales and F&I.” Belson and Hagen together have more than 35 years of F&I experience.

“Our goal is to positively affect dealer’s profits in several manners. Parts of this workshop will be dedicated to every profit source in a dealership including sales, finance, fleet, service, and body shop,” Belson says.
