SOCIALDEALER Launches Facebook Mobile Ad Services
Small dealerships can now participate in sponsored-story placements that can be viewed by mobile Facebook users.
CHICAGO — SOCIALDEALER has rolled out a new service that provides dealers with the ability to create and buy mobile-sponsored story placements from Facebook. The service launch comes on the heels of Facebook’s own announcement yesterday that any size company can now send sponsored stories to mobile users of Facebook, a service that was previously only available to large companies with fans of 500,000 or greater.
The change in policy means Facebook mobile ads are open to a much larger pool of advertisers with any size budget. Dealerships large and small can now target the 900 million Facebook users who access the social networking site through a mobile device.
“By Facebook offering mobile ad capabilities to companies of any size they’ve essentially opened up close to 500 million prospects to dealers,” said Phil Penton, president of SOCIALDEALER. “We pride ourselves on being first to market with the newest social media trends and this offering is no exception. We’re ready to get dealerships of any size in front of targeted mobile consumers on Facebook ready to buy today.”
