Team One/Summit Systems is a research and training company that developed the F&I menu selling approach in the late 1990s and has trained more than 6,000 F&I managers nationwide. According to the company, it has also educated many of the trainers and system development personnel from F&I product suppliers and lenders.

The company says its training program is the result of researching the top performers in finance product penetrations, income per unit, and customer satisfaction in the country. According to the company, a survey in 1999 showed that dealers rated the Team One training as their best training value.

The video series is $295 and the three day "Masters" F&I session is $695 per person. Team One also guarantees immediate, measurable results or they will refund the fee.

Team One reverted to strictly research for the last two years but decided to reopen its’ training program due to requests from dealers, product suppliers, and manufacturers lending arms.

According to Team One/Summit Systems, they adhere to a policy of independence from any product provider or lender. This has allowed the company to work in the dealers’ best interest without any proprietary influence. They do not sell or endorse any one product or supplier.
