The Cobalt Group, a provider of CRM and e-business software and services to the automotive retail market, on Jan. 23 announced that it has partnered with Callbright Corporation to offer a more powerful Media Tracker solution.

Media Tracker is a performance measurement system designed to enable automotive marketers and automobile dealers to measure and maximize the return on their marketing investments, improve showroom processes, and increase customer satisfaction. Media Tracker is part of Cobalt's customer relationship management (CRM) suite and is designed to help dealers capture phone leads generated by marketing programs, track them through to a closed sale, and follow up with customers.

"By partnering with Callbright, Cobalt now offers the most advanced performance measurement system integrated with the most powerful CRM solution available today," said Mike Martinez, The Cobalt Group's vice president of sales and marketing. "Integrated with Cobalt's complete suite of CRM solutions, Media Tracker provides dealers with a way to invest in their most successful marketing strategies, generate more prospects, convert more prospects into sales, and turn more customers into repeat buyers."

According to Martinez, Media Tracker, combined with Cobalt's CRM products Prospector and Lead Manager, helps dealers enhance their call and lead handling skills, improve lead-to-appointment conversion, boost sales closing rates, and better market to their customers and prospects throughout the customer lifecycle. Media Tracker is a fully integrated solution within Cobalt's CRM suite, designed to enable dealers to record and access all prospect and customer information and transactions in a single CRM application and measure true sales results.

"Callbright provides a telephone call reporting, tracking and recording solution that gives dealers a wealth of information that they can use to improve the results of their marketing programs," said Dave Carter, president of Callbright. "The Callbright solution is unique because it provides caller information during the call through real-time screen pops, improving the dealer's ability to convert phone leads to appointments and sales. Cobalt is the perfect partner for us to work with because of their market position, and because they offer the most complete suite of CRM solutions available today with which we can integrate."

Media Tracker is based on technology provided by Callbright, the leading provider of real-time, dynamic caller information. Media Tracker reports include the telephone number of every caller, the marketing campaign that generated each call, and the call's date, time, duration, and result. Media Tracker also provides dealers with screen pops of incoming calls in real time with the caller's contact and demographic information. Caller interactions with dealer personnel are digitally recorded and data and voice recordings are accessible in real time via the Internet.
