Top Trainers Lead Agent Summit Agenda
Agent Summit organizers have reported an early surge in registrations following the release of the event’s agenda.
LAS VEGAS — Agent Summit organizers have reported an early surge in registrations following the release of the event’s agenda. Show chair David Gesualdo credited the response to the show’s focus on training, noting that this year’s slate offers a “one-stop shop” for agent-focused education.
“Our goal was to offer our attendees a year’s worth of training in one trip,” Gesualdo said Wednesday. “Our advisory board worked overtime to sort through the topics agents told us they wanted covered, and we invited the best people available to lead them.”
The event is scheduled for March 12–14, 2012, at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, with workshops starting Tuesday, March 13, and continuing into Wednesday morning. The first trainer on the schedule is Gerry Gould, director of training for United Development Systems Inc. He will welcome attendees on Tuesday morning and serve as emcee.
“This year’s Agent Summit couldn’t come at a better time,” Gould said. “Our business is rebounding. Folks are attentive to new and creative ideas, and they’re sure to find them amongst the pool of talent participating this year.”
Safe-Guard Products International’s Luis Garcia, whose high-octane presentation on driving dealer profits jump-started last year’s educational slate, returns to lead the first workshop. Garcia will present “Making Role-Playing an Effective Exercise” after Gould’s welcome address and an opening keynote address by top trainer Paul Webb.
The afternoon schedule includes workshops led by Dealership Income Development’s Tom Luzader (“The Most Effective Ways to Sell Products in the Service Drive”) and Bart Carpenter of GSFSGroup (“Increasing Product Sales Through Customer-Tailored F&I Presentations”). Great Lakes Companies’ head trainer, Steve Veldkamp, takes on “Increasing Penetrations on Key Replacement, Appearance Protection and More” on Wednesday morning.
Agent Summit 2012 is presented in partnership with F&I and Showroom and Agent Entrepreneur magazines. For the full agenda, registration and more, visit the Agent Summit website.
