Toyota Contributes $1 Million California Fire Relief
Toyota Motor Sales, U.S.A., Inc., on Oct. 29 donated $1,000,000 to the American Red Cross. The contribution was earmarked for relief efforts in the fire-ravaged California counties of San Diego, San Bernardino, Los Angeles and Ventura.
"The recent fires are a reminder that each of us is vulnerable to disaster at any given time," said Jim Press, executive vice president and chief operating officer, Toyota Motor Sales U.S.A., Inc. "There is great comfort in knowing we can depend on the courage of our firefighters and the quality services of the American Red Cross to stand beside us in times of crisis."
