Universal Computer Systems (UCS) announced it currently offers a fully integrated suite of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software. Because the UCS CRM suite is developed entirely by UCS, it offers complete integration among the sales, service, parts, and finance departments of a dealership, according to the company.

The company says the CRM software works to prevent duplicate entries from being created and ensures that accurate information is stored in the dealership's UCS computer system. To help collect more extensive prospect information, requirements can be established in the sales prospect software to ensure that all required information is entered into the UCS system.

Built-in management tools also exist in the UCS CRM suite, according to the company, including appointment tracking capabilities, which enable managers to call and confirm appointments, resulting in a higher show rates, and telephone management functionality so managers can monitor salespeople's contact efforts with prospects. The CRM software also helps to secure repeat business by automatically creating prospect records for customers with upcoming lease terminations or balloon notes. The integration with Microsoft® Word and Outlook provides dealerships with templates to print batch letters for mass mailings or create personalized letters and emails for specific prospects and customers.

"Our approach to CRM was to design a software suite for the UCS system from the ground up, rather than purchasing a third-party application and trying to force it to integrate. As a result, our clients avoid interface problems and extra costs resulting from using third-party software, and they can take advantage of a fully integrated CRM solution that works," states Dan Agan, executive vice president.
