Universal Underwriters Group Announces New F&I Department Reporting System
Universal Underwriters has announced a new finance and insurance department reporting system, PowerTracking(SM), which is now available for all franchised auto dealers.
"With PowerTracking, the dealership will have the ability to truly understand what’s happening in the F&I office, allowing them to generate higher sales and profits," said Bill Stoothoff, vice president of finance and insurance at Universal Underwriters Group.
According to Universal Underwriters, PowerTracking is an Internet-based F&I management reporting application that obtains data from the Dealership Management System (DMS) and creates a variety of reports that help keep track of activities in the dealership.
"These real-time reports are compiled automatically, creating consistent reports that accurately reflect the dealership(s) financial statement, and the F&I data can be analyzed in much greater depth," Stoothoff said. "Dealer groups can now have consistent reports for each location, as well as benchmarking and reports for the entire group."
With PowerTracking, Universal Underwriters said it delivers these dealership benefits:
Improved cash flow by real-time tracking of funding and billing deals.
Increased finance department income by real-time performance tracking of the finance office.
Boost front-end gross by use of the sales reports.
Sell more cars through automated lender analysis reports.
Internet access to consistent reports for all dealership locations.
"Of course, Universal Underwriters’ F&I professionals will continue to provide the dealership with consulting and income development services to help increase their bottom line," Stoothoff said. "They will generate PowerTracking reports detailing the performance of the F&I office or offices, analyze these reports and review them with dealership staff, and point out trends, growth, and identify opportunities for additional profit."
