USAutoNews.com has expanded its service by signing an Internet and distribution agreement with ADP, the largest provider of computer management systems to automotive dealers.

Through the agreement, USAutoNews.com (USAN) will provide a private label version of its DealerWarranties.com (DW) market place to dealers. The DW Web site will be branded to the individual dealer and accessed through the dealer's Web site. Once e-commerce enabled, the dealer can quote and sell vehicle service contracts (extended warranties) to consumers who purchase cars from private parties.

These new services will be distributed through ADP's Dealer-Suite.com(TM), the Internet destination that aims to improve operational efficiency for dealers by linking them to online resources and services to help them be more competitive and profitable and accessed through the dealer's Web site.

The dealer, through its traditional advertising, could attract consumers to the dealer's Web site where the consumer could then access the dealer's private label version of DW. This new program offers a dealer more Internet traffic to their Web site, e-commerce enables their Web site and provides incremental business to the dealership, according to James Kennedy, vice president of sales and marketing for USAN.

"DealerWarranties.com opens the private party market to the dealer and gives them extra business," Kennedy said. "The opportunity for the dealer is to get profitable vehicle service contracts along with future service and parts in a market that currently sells about 15 million cars annually. Further, this offering gives the dealer a first-in-line chance to sell the consumer his or her next car."
