CHICAGO -- The Warranty Group Inc., a provider of service plans, has appointed Robert "Bob" H. Morton to Resource Automotive as vice president of training and development.
"Bob brings a broad range of training and development skills to our organization. His financial services background combined with his automotive expertise will bring added value to our clients and to our organization," said Mark H. Mishler, president and COO of The Warranty Group.
Morton has 23 years of training experience at General Motors Acceptance Corporation where additional responsibilities included sourcing, purchasing, IT, vendor management and affinity marketing. He holds a bachelor of arts degree in history from Holy Cross College and was named the GMAC Mortgage "Best of the Best" award winner from 2000 to 2006.
