Wells Fargo Auto Finance Group and Wells Fargo Financial Acceptance have integrated to better serve the retail and wholesale segments of the auto financing industry.
The combined business will serve the more than 20,000 franchised automobile dealers in the United States that have relationships with the two businesses.
The AFG dealer indirect and vehicle leasing groups will report to Gary Lorenz, president of Wells Fargo Financial Acceptance. The wholesale and portfolio acquisition units will remain part of the Auto Finance Group under the leadership of Louis Cosso, executive vice president, Wells Fargo Auto Finance Group.
