AutoMap Promotes Sargeant to CEO
Mark Sargeant has been promoted from vice president of business development and marketing to CEO of AutoMap LLC.


HILLSBORO, Ore. — Vehicle location and inventory management solutions provider AutoMap LLC announced the promotion of Mark Sargeant to CEO, effective Sept. 30. Sargeant has been with the company for the past 9 years, starting in sales and system development and advancing to the role of vice president of business development and marketing.
“Mark has been instrumental with the success of AutoMap leading the growth of the company to include several new customers including Mercedes Benz [of] Vance, Ala.,” said the company’s founder, Ken Smith. “Mark has proven his ability to grow the business and provide exceptional service to its numerous customers.”
In a release, Sargeant noted he was a business owner before joining AutoMap and continues to develop his leadership skills as an MBA candidate.
“With a great team behind me, AutoMap is on the path to not only become the leading vehicle location system in the U.S., but globally,” he said. “I look forward to bringing my excitement and vision for the company’s future.”
