In the absence of test drives and shopping for a new car in person, Volvo is launching a new immersive experience on Pinterest to help people find the car that perfectly fits their personal needs. The Volvo Style Finder is a quiz that narrows down the best vehicle for all different lifestyles and aesthetics, from foodies to art lovers to tech junkies. Through a series of four questions, people on Pinterest can streamline the search for their perfect car with a pre-populated board including the cars that are best built for them. 

Designed with every customer in mind, the end result is a Pinterest board tailored to the user’s style and resource needs, affording all the tools needed to find their dream car. 75% of weekly auto Pinners use Pinterest for inspiration in their path to purchase, and the Volvo Style Finder brings a new element of personalization to that journey. There has been a 26% increase in active car research searches year-to-year on Pinterest (Aug 2019 compared to Aug 2020).

This new Volvo campaign, made in collaboration with Grey, Unit9 and Mindshare, demonstrates how Pinterest is reimagining virtual shopping, giving people the opportunity to browse virtual dealerships in new ways.
