SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. -- The Automotive Dealership Institute and Idealergroup, LLC have signed an exclusive agreement that allows Idealergroup to market ADI’s Automotive Finance Management, Service Advisor and other courses and products in development to dealerships nationwide, it was announced by ADI CEO Alan Algan and Idealergroup CEO Jeff Buchanan.

Idealergroup, with offices in Pennsylvania and Florida, is comprised of automotive industry professionals with an extensive background in the automotive, insurance, banking, marketing and software industries. Originally designed as a “think tank” to bring new ideas and concepts to automobile dealerships, Idealergroup has evolved into a full-service organization.

In addition to developing and delivering innovative concepts and programs, it also provides traditional F&I products, a variety of dealership software applications, and ancillary insurance products for the entire dealership.

"We are pleased to have developed an outstanding relationship with Idealergroup, as the company’s network of 360 general agents is the best in the country," Algan said. "They’re used to dealing with manufacturers as well as dealer principals at the nation’s largest dealership groups. With their aggressive marketing campaigns and our unparallel training programs, ADI will become the first name in providing an automotive education."

Idealergroup distributes its products through an extensive network of seasoned general agents throughout the United States. The agents will now have the opportunity to offer the ADI education program exclusively in the territory they service on a daily basis.

"We are very pleased to partner with Automotive Dealership Institute to bring the highest-quality automotive dealership educational program available in the industry to dealerships across the country," Buchanan said. "After spending several days auditing their courses, I am convinced that ADI stands alone in its field."

Idealergroup’s most-recent program development was the successful launch of Dealership For Life, a customer reward and retention program that has received instant acceptance from dealerships nationwide. Buchanan, who also oversees the operations of DFL, stated that the educational programs offered by ADI are precisely the type of innovative programs that Idealergroup delivers.

"ADI’s facilities in Scottsdale are first-class, as is the education they offer," Buchanan said. "I have no doubt that dealerships nationwide will take advantage of their programs. As the automotive industry continues to evolve, dealerships are beginning to realize just how important proper training is, not only for maximizing profits, but also for customer satisfaction and retention."

Said Keith Tuber, ADI president: "Our association with Idealergroup brings ADI to a new level. Our comprehensive Finance Insurance Management program includes certification by the Association of Finance and Insurance Professionals (AFIP) and the Institute for Ethical Behavior. Graduates are also able to transfer up to 32 Educational Credit Units to Northwood University. Our mission is to elevate the level of education in the automotive industry, and with Idealergroup’s assistance, we should be able to accomplish just that."

The Automotive Dealership Institute is a Scottsdale, Ariz.-based automotive management school that specializes in educating the next generation of Finance and Insurance managers and service advisors. ADI is licensed by the State of Arizona Board for Private Postsecondary Education and approved by the Arizona Department of Education.
