DETROIT -- As the other domestic automakers keep hiking up rebates and incentives in July to grab market share and clear inventories, Chrysler is keeping deals at a minimum.
Chrysler's new offerings are turning out to be a hit. It is benefiting from sales of the Chrysler 300 and advanced orders for the Dodge Magnum station wagon, according to The New York Times.
"We're comfortable with where we are with incentives," said Gary Dilts, the Chrysler Group's executive vice president for sales. "We've got a bunch of new products and we're competitively priced."
Chrysler boosted incentives in the first six months of 2003 but started to decrease them in June.
Chrysler is still offering $1,000 cash back on many of its vehicles, including the 300C, for those who finance through Chrysler Financial, said Dilts. The Pacifica also comes with a $4,000 cash rebate this month.
