Tesla recalled both model years of its Cybertruck due to an exterior panel that can fall off the vehicle.
The Texas-based electric vehicle maker recalled the more than 46,000 Cybertrucks it’s manufactured since the model entered production in the fall of 2023.
A stainless-steel “cant rail” trim panel on the trucks may separate from the body, presenting a traffic hazard if on the road, according to a recall notice filed with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

Tesla dealers will replace the part on affected vehicles. The electric-vehicle market leader is scheduled to mail recall notices to owners on May 19.
The Cybertruck has already been recalled eight times for various issues.
