Dealer Marketing Services Inc. has hired Steve Aeschliman in the newly created position of director of credit and compliance. He will have oversight of the strategic direction, expansion and operation of both credit services and compliance.
DAVENPORT, Iowa — Dealer Marketing Services, Inc. announced this week that Steve Aeschliman has joined the company in a newly created position. As director of credit and compliance and member of the company’s executive team, Aeschliman will report to CEO John Palmer.
Aeschliman will have oversight of the strategic direction, expansion and operation of both credit services and compliance.
“I am thrilled that Steve will be joining our team,” Palmer said. “He shares our values and our focus on innovation, and he places the same strong emphasis as we do on the compliance side of our business. He has shown himself to be an extraordinary leader throughout his career and has a proven track record in his former role.”
Aeschliman joined DMS January 20th from TransUnion LLC, where he served as MAE in the automotive vertical and managed the auto reseller business through a period of outstanding growth. Prior to TransUnion, he was a general sales manager at a large Chicagoland Auto Group.
“I am profoundly honored to join Dealer Marketing Services in this newly created position and very much look forward to working with the team to further enrich the dealer experience,” Aeschliman said. “I have always admired the innovation and hope in some small way I can help contribute to the company’s continued success in the industry.”
In 1995 DMS launched ProMax, which brought together consumer credit, CRM, ILM, inventory and desking into one solution.
