LAS VEGAS – Organizers of the 2026 Ethical F&I Managers Conference (EFI) announced that Kokomo Auto World's Dustin Gingerich will present '12 Rules for an F&I Life' at the event, scheduled for April 13–15 at The Comopolitan Las Vegas, alongside the annual Agent Summit.

The F&I office is one of the most important and most pressured positions in the dealership. We operate at the intersection of compliance, profitability, customer experience, and leadership. Every day we balance protecting the store, serving the customer, funding contracts correctly, and driving revenue all while managing stress, expectations, and constant scrutiny.

“12 Rules for an F&I Life” is not just about selling more products. It’s about building a sustainable, ethical, and high-performing career in Finance & Insurance. These rules come from real experiences—wins, losses, mistakes, mentors, and lessons learned the hard way. They are designed to help you protect your dealership, protect yourself, improve your health, sharpen your mindset, strengthen customer connections, and ultimately enjoy the career you’ve chosen.

Gingerich added that, "this isn’t theory ... it's practical guidance for surviving—and thriving—in the F&I office."

Dustin H. Gingerich is the F&I Director at Kokomo Auto World, where he has served for the past 10 years. With a decade of leadership in Finance & Insurance, he is known for his commitment to compliance, performance, mentorship, and protecting both the dealership and its customers. Prior to his career in automotive, Gingerich served as a sheriff’s deputy, developing a strong foundation in integrity, accountability, and composure under pressure. Before entering law enforcement, he proudly served in the United States Navy as a photographer, where he cultivated discipline, attention to detail, and a unique perspective on storytelling and connection. His diverse background and leadership experience shape his practical, principle-driven approach to both life and the F&I profession.
