RANCHO SANTA MARGARITA — Finance Express rolled out a new Android app called FEX Mobile, a DMS mobile application designed to integrate with the company’s dealer management system of the same name.

The application allows dealers to quickly scan and decode VINs, then view relevant pricing information from the National Automobile Dealers Association, KBB, BlackBook and Manheim MMR. Additionally, dealers can view vehicle history reports from CARFAX and AutoCheck. Pictures can also be taken and uploaded to all vehicles.

The new app also offers the following features:

Evaluate a vehicle: Using the phone’s built-in camera, customers can quickly scan a vehicle’s VIN or manually type it in. Once the VIN has been scanned, the system will automatically decode the number and provide up-to-date information about that vehicle. Users can even add the vehicle to their live FEX inventory with a single click.

Create Customized Auction Lists: The FEX mobile app has been designed to assist with vehicle purchases at local auctions. As users walk around scanning VINs, the mobile app keeps tabs on those vehicles so they can quickly retrieve and view any of the previously scanned vehicles, then assign them to an auction list. That list is then sent to the buyers mobile phone.

View Dealership Activity: The dealership snapshot shows company owners and managers a real-time breakdown of their dealership’s activity. This includes sales for today, how much money was collected, number of vehicles in stock, current accounts receivable information and past due information.

The app is free to all Finance Express customers, and all these features are also available on the iPhone as well. For more information, click here.
