Auto Dealer Today and F&I and Showroom’s Tariq Kamal will helm the advisory board for this year’s Industry Summit, leading a group tasked with building an agenda tailored to the needs of dealers, F&I professionals, and industry members.
NEW ORLEANS — Industry Summit organizers announced that Tariq Kamal, associate publisher of Bobit Business Media’s Dealer Group, will serve as advisory board chair for this year’s event. Industry Summit 2019 will be held Nov. 4–6 in New Orleans.
Kamal has served the automotive industry in multiple roles for more than a decade and will be a familiar face to board members and attendees from his work on Auto Dealer Today and F&I and Showroom magazines, said show chair and group publisher David Gesualdo.
“Tariq reports on this industry every day and is plugged into a vast network of dealers and dealership workers, agents, executives, and thought leaders,” Gesualdo said. “We are counting on him and the board to craft an agenda that reflects the urgent needs of our attendees at a pivotal time for our industry.”
The event, which includes an advanced F&I educational slate, compliance training and certification, and the Technology Challenge, is co-located with Compliance Summit and the P&A Leadership Summit.
“The industry and the people who drive it have great expectations for Industry Summit, and I look forward to doing my part to meet them,” Kamal said. “I appreciate the opportunity and look forward to meeting this unique challenge.”
More details about Industry Summit 2019, including the agenda and final registration details, will become available in the months ahead. To discuss sponsorship and exhibition opportunities, contact David Gesualdo via email or at 727-947-4027.
