Visitors to the NADA Convention can stop by NADA Booth #2562N for details on how Rhino Linings has brought dealers a proven way to bring more revenue into their business. According to Rhino Linings, this entails adding Rhino Linings to the dealership and offering customers access to the sprayed-on truck bed liner as part of the F&I package.

Since, according to the company, the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) reports that the

average light truck buyer adds $1800-$2500 worth of aftermarket accessories

within 90 days of purchase, auto dealers can generate considerable revenue

by offering these accessories to the buyer directly. In fact, reported F&I

Management & Technology in August/September 2002, "some high-volume dealers

add as much as $100,000 a month or more to their bottom lines through

aftermarket profits alone."

According to the company, auto dealers who add Rhino Linings to their service departments can:

  • Make up to $300 on each sale

  • Make money on the finance charge

  • Limit their liability (avoid off-site collision or damage

when driving to another Rhino Linings dealer)

  • Control quality of application since they do it themselves

"We've been offering Rhino Linings for nine months now and it's been a good

profit center," said Pete Sutherland of Sutherland Chevrolet (Nicholasville,

KY). "We are already spraying about five trucks a week."

Jody Faris, owner of Performance Plus Used Trucks & Cars (Newton, KS), is

spraying two to three trucks a day with Rhino Linings. "It drives in more

people," Faris said. "And it works in our favor when people who come in just

for the Rhino end up looking at our truck lot too. I've also been very

impressed with Rhino Linings USA sales support, training, and interest in

helping me build my business."

Rhino Linings USA, Inc. is a specialist in sprayed-on polyurethane

linings that protect truck beds and hundreds of other surfaces from impact,

abrasion, corrosion and chemicals. They will be at NADA Booth #2562N to speak

with automobile dealers.
