LAS VEGAS — F&I and Showroom magazine and Automotive Mobile Solutions announced today the "Automotive Mobile Marketer of the Year” award at the 2012 Industry Summit. The 2012 inaugural award is created to commemorate an automotive retailer who is in the forefront of his or her peers in leveraging mobile marketing in creative and profitable ways for both new customer acquisition and customer retention.

"We think it's time that those dealers who are truly innovators in this game-changing medium of mobile marketing be recognized for their accomplishments in leveraging the power of mobile marketing now, before most even recognize a fraction of the ‘fifth screen’ potential," said John Possumato, founder and CEO of Automotive Mobile Solutions. "And we are delighted that F&I and Showroom magazine will help us lead the way in identifying and highlighting these dealers."

Self nominations are encouraged.

The top five finalists will be announced on Jan. 15, 2013, and the winner will be recognized at a special press conference at this year's National Automobile Dealers Convention and Expo, Feb. 10, 2013, and will have a special feature story in F&I and Showroom magazine.
