SAN FRANCISCO — The media outlet reported today that the Japanese automaker disabled its NissanConnect EV app after an Australian researcher discovered a flaw that could allow remote hackers to access the Leaf’s temperature controls and review its driving record by simply knowing the vehicle’s VIN.
