LoJack Corp. announced Jan. 21 that Robert L. Rewey, former group vice president of Ford Motor Company's North American Operations, has
joined the LoJack Board of Directors, effective Jan. 2, 2002.

joined the LoJack Board of Directors, effective Jan. 2, 2002.
"LoJack has set aggressive goals for growth and Mr. Rewey will add valuable industry sales and
marketing insight that will help drive that growth," said Ronald J. Rossi, chairman and CEO of LoJack.
Rewey joined Ford Motor Company in 1963 in sales and service. In the ensuing years he rose through several levels of senior management positions, becoming group vice president for Global Sales, Marketing and Service in 1998.
In 2000, he became a group vice president of North American Operations & Global Consumer Service. He retired in 2001 after 38 years of service.
Rewey started his professional career at Midland Ross Corp. in 1960.
"I am pleased to join the LoJack Board of Directors and look forward to providing strategic counsel to the LoJack management team," Rewey said.
An active member in the business and civic communities, Rewey is presently a director of Sonic Automotive and Speedway Motors. He was a board member of Volvo Cars Inc. and Mazda Corp. He served on the Board of Visitors of Fuqua School at Duke University, from whom he received an executive education certificate in 1998 and on the board of Cleveland Tomorrow. He is a past president of the Detroit Police Athletic League.
Rewey attended Purdue University and Ohio State University. He received an MBA degree from Ohio State University in 1963.
