Safe-Guard Adds HR Exec
Sylvia Taylor joins Safe-Guard Products International as the company’s human resources executive, a role she's previously held at The Weather Channel and AutoTrader.

ATLANTA — Safe-Guard Products International LLC today announced Sylvia Taylor has joined the company as senior vice president of human resources.
"Sylvia will lead the next phase of Safe-Guard’s organizational growth,” said Randy Barkowitz, CEO of Safe-Guard Products. “The addition of a number of marquis clients to our portfolio will require significant growth in our capabilities to ensure we are well positioned for the future. I am excited to have a leader with Sylvia’s capability and experience on the Safe-Guard team.”
Most recently, Taylor led human resources at The Weather Channel where she was responsible for more than 1,000 employees in the United States and the United Kingdom. Previously, as the top human resources executive at AutoTrader.com, she was instrumental in designing, recruiting and managing the 2,400-employee organization and driving AutoTrader’s success. Taylor has been recognized by Savoy magazine as one of the “Top 100 Most Influential Women in Corporate America.”
“I am excited to join the strong leadership team at Safe-Guard,” Taylor said. “I look forward to leading key organizational initiatives that will help propel Safe-Guard through its next stages of growth while driving value for its customers in the dynamic F&I marketplace.”
