DEERFIELD BEACH, Fla. — Southeast Toyota Finance announced that U.S. military personnel will receive a $1,000 rebate when they lease or buy any new Scion model or a $500 rebate when they lease or buy any new Toyota.

To qualify for the rebate at the time of vehicle purchase or lease, the person must be an inactive reserve or in current active duty status in the U.S. Military. Verifiable proof of military status, proof of active service, or inactive reserve status is required at the time of lease or purchase. Retired military personnel are not eligible for the rebate.

The incentive is being offered through Jan. 2, 2013, and can be combined with other current offers. The rebate must be used as a down payment on retail installment contracts or as a capitalized cost reduction on lease contracts.
