VIN Viper Releases iPhone Update
Selig Technologies’ updated VIN Viper mobile app allows dealers to display appraisal values and Carfax summary points on one page.
CHARLESTON, S.C. — Selig Technologies LLC announced the release of an updated version of its iPhone VIN scanning and appraising app, VIN Viper. The app’s mobile appraising tool allows dealers to appraise vehicles by scanning the VIN, and selecting the year, make and model, according to the mobile software provider.
"There are numerous user interface upgrades in this release that simplify and speed up the appraising process," said Jason Seligman, president of Selig Technologies. “Dealers can now configure VIN Viper to display the values and Carfax summary points on one page."
Most notable in this update is the removal of device restrictions and user limits, according to the company. "VIN Viper's v1.3 no longer restricts dealers to one account, one iPhone," Seligman said. "Dealers can now share their VIN Viper account throughout the entire dealership on multiple iPhone devices."
VIN Viper users also can take multiple photos, make appraisal notes, e-mail appraisals within the app and push vehicles to Facebook as news feeds, according to Selig Technologies.
