Lithia Motors announced June 26 it has acquired Broncho Chevrolet and Sherman Chevrolet in Odessa and Midland, Texas.
The stores, which will be renamed Chevrolet of Odessa and Chevrolet of Midland, had combined sales of approximately $115 million in 2001. The acquisitions were paid for in cash and were Lithia's eighth and ninth store acquisitions of the year.
Lithia currently has the Chevrolet, Chrysler, Jeep and Dodge brands in Odessa and the Chevrolet, Dodge and Hyundai brands in Midland.
Earlier in the year Lithia acquired the Chrysler, Jeep and Dodge brands in both Big Springs and San Angelo as well as the Chevrolet and Honda brands in San Angelo.
