DES MOINES, Iowa — Chase Auto Finance announced Monday that it opened a new Custom Finance office in Des Moines, Iowa, to serve the subprime financing needs of dealers in the central Plains area.
The new office houses an underwriting and funding team that will serve consumer finance needs for local dealers.
Located at 200 Valley West Drive, Suite 609, in West Des Moines, the new Chase office is managed by Brian Hagaman, who also manages Chase’s Minneapolis business center.
Previously, Chase served the Iowa and Nebraska markets from the Minneapolis center. The new Des Moines office will complement the Minneapolis office, which will continue to service some collections and booking of loans.
“By offering local customer service, Chase can provide Iowa and Nebraska area dealers, and ultimately consumers, easier access to our subprime auto financing,” said Bill Jensen, Chase Custom Finance executive.
Local Chase teams provide a full suite of services to dealerships through prime and subprime business centers. Chase’s Dealer Commercial Services division is a non-captive floorplan and commercial loan provider for dealerships across the nation and offers treasury management services, real estate financing and other commercial banking services to franchised automobile dealers.
Chase Auto Finance purchases retail installment contracts and originates loans across the continental United States, as well as in Hawaii and Alaska. Its Custom Finance division serves more than 15,000 auto dealers across the country with over 40 business centers.
