AutoSoft Adds Kia Vehicle History to DMS
AutoSoft Inc. announced the addition of the Kia VIN Inquiry Interface to the AutoSoft DMS, allowing Kia dealers to view and retrieve KMA vehicle service history from within the service module.
WEST MIDDLESEX, Pa. — AutoSoft Inc. announced the addition of the Kia VIN Inquiry Interface to the AutoSoft DMS, allowing Kia dealers to view and retrieve KMA vehicle service history from within the service module.
The interface pulls Kia warranty information into the DMS and enables service advisors to view warranty information onscreen, according to AutoSoft. Reports from within the Kia VIN Inquiry Results screen show important vehicle data, including vehicle build information, warranty, recall status and history tied to a particular VIN.
Users can access the Get KMA Vehicle History button through several screens in the service module, including the Service Xpress Scheduler, the Customer Information screen, Customer History screen (from the Repair Order menu) and the Kia Warranty interface.
Regardless of where the information is accessed, the retrieval process is the same, according to AutoSoft. Information can be viewed on the screen and printed to send with the warranty claim.
Customers can download the Kia VIN Inquiry Interface by performing a web update.
