Bank One Custom Finance Connects to DealerTrack eContracting Technology

MELVILLE, N.Y. -- Bank One Custom Finance has deployed DealerTrack's e-contracting technology to give dealers a more convenient and faster financing process.
DealerTrack eContracting lets dealers complete contracts electronically (including digital customer signatures) and electronically transmit them to participating financing sources. This process eliminates paperwork and reduces contracts-in-transit.
"Automation of the credit application and decisioning process has brought tangible benefits to all stakeholders in automotive finance," said Bill Jensen, Bank One national subprime manager. "We expect the automation of the contracting process to drive significant efficiencies for our dealer customers, as well as for Bank One."
Bank One Custom Finance has been connected to DealerTrack's core functionality, The F&I Tool Suite, since November 2002. It lets dealers electronically submit credit application data to Bank One, monitor application status, access credit reports and more. With eContracting, dealers can conduct the entire financing process electronically, from credit application all the way through to contracting.
DealerTrack expects to triple the number of financing sources connected to eContracting by 2005.
