“We continue to see slow but steady improvement in the economy and in the new-car market,” said CNCDA Chairman, Steve Snyder, who operates Gold Rush Chevrolet/Subaru in Auburn, Calif. “New-car buyers have a wide variety of new models and increasingly efficient vehicles to choose from at great prices.”

The CNCDA also forecasted that sales will increase by another 13.3 percent to 1.3 million new vehicles in 2011.

The California Auto Outlook Fourth Quarter 2010 Market Report provides comprehensive information on the state’s new vehicle market with charts and graphs. The report includes: a segment watch, including the top five models in each segment; a market perspective, comparing California nationally; brand scoreboards; a regional recap and more. The complete report can be accessed on CNCDA’s website at www.cncda.org
