LAKE SUCCESS, N.Y. -- DealerTrack, Inc. announced that it is enhancing its DealerTrack BookOut™ product with the addition of Kelley Blue Book® and Black Book® used-car values.
Kelley Blue Book will be available later this month, and Black Book will be available in the second half of 2005. DealerTrack BookOut, which automatically integrates updated used-vehicle valuations with online credit applications, was launched in December 2004 with N.A.D.A. Official Used Car Guide® values.
"Adding Kelley Blue Book and Black Book values to our BookOut feature is an important product enhancement for our dealer customers who want fast and easy electronic access to used-car values," said Vince Passione, executive vice president and chief operating officer at DealerTrack.
Many automobile dealers and financing sources still rely on a variety of printed guides that are issued monthly with updated used-vehicle valuations. Information must be located correctly in the latest guide and then entered manually into documents, a time-consuming process with numerous opportunities for human error. With DealerTrack BookOut, dealers can quickly obtain the latest used-car values online and seamlessly transfer them into credit applications, which can then be submitted electronically, printed or saved.
