LAKE SUCCESS, N.Y. -- DealerTrack Holdings Inc. has elected John J. McDonnell Jr. to its board of directors.

"[McDonnell] is a pioneer in the telecommunications industry, with broad experience as the CEO of public companies in transaction processing technology," said Mark O'Neil, DealerTrack's chairman of the board and CEO. "We are confident that Jack will provide the board with valuable perspective."
McDonnell is the founder, chairman and CEO of TNS Inc., a provider of data communications services to processors of credit card, debit card and ATM transactions worldwide. Previously, he served as chairman and CEO of PaylinX Corp., a software provider for transaction processing, from November 1999 until it was sold to CyberSource Corp. in September 2000. He remains a director of CyberSource.
