Ex-Cox Exec Joins YP.com
The former president of Cox Automotive's Media Solutions Group has found a new home. According to a press announcement, Jared Rowe is set to become CEO of YP.com on Sept. 1.
ATLANTA — Jared Rowe, the former president of Cox Automotive’s Media Solutions Group, was named CEO of YP.com. The announcement comes less than two weeks after Cox Automotive named Rowe’s replacement.
Rowe joined Cox in 2010 and held numerous leadership positions within Cox Automotive. He also spent nine years at FordDirect. He is now set to become YP.com’s CEO on Sept. 1. He replaces David Krantz, who led YP (Yellow Pages) since its spin-off from AT&T in 2012. Krantz has agreed to serve as a strategic advisor.
“Jared’s extraordinary executive track record and deep expertise in digital marketing, technology and product development, and local, regional, and national sales leadership will help to ensure YP has the scale, technology, and relationships required to continue driving YP forward as the go-to marketing services provider for local businesses,” stated Chan Galbato, chairman of YP and CEO of Cerberus Operations and Advisory Company LLC.
On Aug. 10, Cox Automotive named Brian Geitner president of its Media Solutions Group. He assumed his new role on Aug. 15, and now oversees the company’s Autotrader, Kelley Blue Book, and Dealer.com business divisions and brands.
