TORRANCE, Calif. — With challenges continuing to mount
and answers slow to come, the 2009
F&I Conference & Expo will host a special executive panel aimed at
providing attendees with advice for managing and forecasting F&I related
losses, as well as recommendations for building a firm foundation for
uncovering new sales and revenue streams.
Scheduled for Wednesday, Sept. 23, at 10 a.m., the “Tackling Challenges
Head-On” panel will be led by finance expert Marguerite Watanabe, president of
Connections Insights. She will lead a panel of four industry experts, including
two automotive credit analysts who will provide a snapshot of the consumer
credit markets.
Joining Watanabe on the panel will be Pete Biscardi, president of NAC; Lewis
Kuhl, attorney for Pathman Lewis LLP; Peter Turek, automotive vice president of
TransUnion; and Melinda Zabritski, director of automotive credit for Experian
Automotive.
The 2009 F&I Conference & Expo will be held in Orlando, Fla.,
at the Orlando World Center Marriott Resort & Convention, Sept. 21-23. The
show will cover a broad array of F&I- and dealer-related topics, including
workshops on the special finance market, compliance, F&I product sales,
