RICHMOND, Va., and SCHAUMBURG, Ill. -- Experian Automotive and CarMax Inc. have announced that consumers can now access Experian's AutoCheck vehicle histories on all CarMax used vehicles.

AutoCheck enables car buyers to quickly access the history of any used vehicle. By leveraging Experian's National Vehicle Database of over half a billion vehicles, AutoCheck reveals possible undisclosed or unknown problems, such as salvage and flood damage history that can affect an automobile's safety and resale value.

Expanding the successful relationship between the two companies, the agreement allows customers browsing carmax.com, or shopping at any CarMax superstore, to instantly review an online AutoCheck vehicle history report at no cost.
