F&I Management and Technology magazine will host a press conference at the NADA Convention on Sunday, Feb. 4, at 4 p.m. to announce the 2007 Dealer of the Year. The event, sponsored by DealerTrack, will be held in room N233 at the Las Vegas Convention Center, and will gather the magazine’s staff, NADA dealers, industry vendors and the automotive media.
Featured in the magazine’s February issue are the 2007 regional Pacesetters, made up of six U.S. dealerships that are now vying for a shot at being named the 2007 Dealer of the Year. Nominated by the industry, each Pacesetter was chosen by the magazine for leading the pace in regulatory compliance, ethical practices and community involvement.
“In today’s regulatory environment, having the title of Dealer of the Year is one heck of an accomplishment,” said Gregory Arroyo, the magazine’s executive editor. “This year, we have a very diverse group of Pacesetters contending for dealer of the year. Common among all is their strong commitment toward improving the image of the automotive financing industry. With such a prestigious group, this really is a tough decision.”
This year’s Pacesetters (sponsored by Resource Automotive) include:
·West: Tuttle Click Automotive, Irvine, Calif.
·Southwest: ABC Nissan, Phoenix, Ariz.
·South: North Houston Infiniti, Houston, Texas
·Southeast: Easterns Automotive, Mclean, Va.
·Midwest: Davis Moore Auto Group, Wichita, Kan.
·Northeast: Balise Motor Sales, West Springfield, Mass.
Each Pacesetter will be recognized at the magazine’s press conference, and a brief profile of each will appear in the magazine’s February issue. In April, the magazine will feature the 2007 Dealer of the Year.
