Genesis Unveils Virtual Showroom
Genesis officially launched its new, web-based 3D configurator and Instagram Stories configurator, both targeted to car buyers shopping from home.

FOUNTAIN VALLEY, Calif. — Genesis has officially unveiled its virtual showroom, a new platform designed to give car buyers an immersive, 3D shopping experience before visiting a dealership. The virtual showroom is comprised of two “build-your-own” configuration tools: an Automotive Real-Time 3D Configurator and an Instagram Stories Automotive Video Configurator.
Both the fully web-based, 3D configurator and Instagram Stories configurator, neither of which requires the use of special eyewear, are billed as the first of their kind for the North American market. They launched in conjunction with a full rebuild of Genesis.com.
“Genesis customers expect personalized and innovative shopping possibilities at every level of the car ownership experience. We’ve redesigned our website to fully engage with them,” said Kate Fabian, head of marketing for Genesis Motor America. “The 3D Configurator is unique. Prior to stepping foot into one of our retailers, it allows our customers to fully interact with every element of our new G70 luxury sport sedan on their schedule, enabling them to virtually tailor their exact vehicle of choice on their terms.”
