Haystak: Yahoo! Bing Conversion Rates Top Google
According to Haystak Digital Marketing, the Yahoo! Bing network is delivering conversion rates at lower costs for auto dealers, Clickz.com reports.
FORT MYERS, Fla. — Haystak Digital Marketing told ClickZ.com, a media outlet, this week that independent auto dealers are realizing high conversion rates on Yahoo! Bing at lower cost-per-conversion rates vs. search engine marketing on Google.
Duncan Scarry, senior director of Haystak Digital Marketing, explained that because there are less dealers advertising on the Yahoo Bing, those who do are getting better positioning for a lower overall cost. He added that competition for local search ads among dealers “is fierce,” because vehicles are such large ticket items and dealers can spend up to $70,000 per month to market their inventory and stores.
Recently, the digital marketing firm, owned by a subsidiary of AutoTrader, found that 70 percent of people who visit an auto manufacturer’s website will visit the website of a car dealership within 30 minutes.
"You can go on the manufacturer's site and build the car with color, interior, options and, quite frankly, you can build a car that doesn't exist. People go on the dealer's site to see current inventory, incentives and pricing," Scarry told Clickz.com.
