Household Joins DealerTrack
DealerTrack, a technology services company that accelerates the
entire dealer-to-creditor relationship through a Web-based platform, announced an alliance
with Household Auto Finance, a subsidiary of Household International. Household now
participates in the Web-based DealerTrack™ auto finance platform in 12 states, with a nationwide
rollout planned within the next 30 days.
According to the company, dealer customers of Household who use DealerTrack are now able to electronically transmit credit
applications to Household, as well as a range of other creditors already on the system, and receive
fast response back on decisions. In addition, dealers are able to transact other financing-related
processes, such as monitoring application status changes, accessing low-cost credit reports and
processing contracts electronically.
"The DealerTrack platform is well-established within the automotive finance community," said Tom
Reddick, director of E-commerce for Household Auto Finance. "By joining the platform, our
organization has already experienced positive results, including an increase in credit application
and contract volume and enhanced service for our dealer customers."
"Household Auto Finance is clearly committed to making dealer-to-creditor transactions as efficient
as possible," said Mark O'Neil, DealerTrack president and CEO. "We're thrilled that a creditor who
shares DealerTrack's mission of using innovative technology to improve the dealer/creditor
relationship has joined our platform."
